We work closely with authors and content creators, literary estates, and their representatives, to invest in and acquire and or represent underlying rights. We then apply our brand management programme, to activate audiences, across multiple media platforms. Areas of activity include publishing, film and TV, radio and audio, licensing, and digital and online development. Our team is drawn from across the media spectrum.

Owatonna Media is constantly evaluating further acquisitions of and investments in authors, author estates, and new material in need of further development. We are interested in portfolios across all genres, including action and adventure, mystery, horror, fantasy, and crime. Previous acquisitions include author portfolios Eric Ambler, John Creasey and Michael Innes. Owatonna Media was created through a management spin-out from Fleming Literary in 2007. Company affiliate Owatonna Media International is engaged with audio and radio commercialisation, and media co-production, development and investment.
